When you run down option what is your technique for the pull guard and what when/ why do you decide to run it.

On Down Option, PSG will pull and log defender on or outside TE. LOG block is a wrong shoulder trap block - pull flat like Trap block and on 4th step get inside shoulder on defender outside hip while punching outside hand to his outside armpit (work yout tail around). We run Down Option once the DE (6, 7, 9 Tech) starts to squeeze down on TE down block. When spotter sees DE closing rather than penetrating we call Down Option.

great play to boundary only option play that you can account for everybody including free safety keeps qb and fb in game loaded so changes option assignments

no we don't run anything with moving parts we just expanded too much - other answers

we run so many triples - hard to go into all the answers now. plus we use a tightened anywhere from 100% to 0% use to always be a high %
