I will be aligning in a TE - SE set, but the idea of teaching two different types of flank ID's for triple (TE and SE) is not ideal (The player's and my own inexperience). I only plan on teaching SE flank tags. Is it a terrible idea to simply have the TE make an in out call...Seal backer to safety with wing arcing widest man who isn't #2 or should I completely scrap Triple to the TE. If I scrap it..I now need a replacement play (Double options, handoff play, etc.) to audible to if people align with 6 to the SE side.
Also...I will see a lot of 4-3 with 2 high safeties placing 4 men outside the path of the FB to the TE side. My gameplan is to run our Midline, OSV, and down option to the TE. To the SE we will have our triple. My worry is that people will take away our triple with "heat" to the SE side and I won't have an answer other than trying to throw the SE side HB off play action. I want a strong TE attack that offers options when people are aligning 4 men outside the TE with heat to the SE. I will have other complimentary plays, but am I on the right track with Mid, OSV, and Down Option to the TE vs this? Hopefully I'm making sense.
Thanks.

You are absolutely correct. The te side adds additional coaching. That's why our. Answers come with more triple tags and not supplemental plays.
You can get along with what your doing. For years we were a down option / down team to the te side. Just make sure you have your qb checks from side to side solid

Going off what you said about tags...Would you advocate checking to a loaded triple (Block #2) when there is heat, rather than going opposite to the TE side where we aren't as strong with tags?

Also. What is the HBs technique on that load block? Is he trying to reach or just maintain contact on #2?

we usually have small hb's so we never ask him to load except in the bone.
he steps inside foot and bases from there - qb will cut off block
