Midline Double: Looking at how I will conceptualize this. We essentially need to locate the read. Get at least two people on A-B Gap LBer. (Guard and Insert Blocker) and someone to pick up overhang, or possibly formation the overhang out of the way. Once my players have an understanding of this I plan on adding tags to change up who is responsible for inserting and taking care of overhang. Is this the best way to conceptualize this or am I missing out on an easy way to tag the plays so that everyone is on the same page? I feel I have a nice system for our triple that utilizes flank id to get everyone on the same page...Looking for something similar for our midline game. Midline Triple: Looking at this play...Would it be possible to use the same flank id you use for triple (Reduced, 50, Ace) in order to get everyone on the same page? Seems like it would work based on what I have tinkered with so far.

Yes that is the way we teach it.
As far as flank id - we don't use it for the tuck play. just looking for a-b gap player. flank and count doesn't matter because you're not taking it out there
